MODERN LUXURY

This project was a year in the making. This already luxurious place had the bones to become something extra and I got the pleasure to create just that for my client. I changed the layout to really make it fit my client's needs, yet get that luxurious feeling that this house already had on the exterior, but the interior didn't feel like it matched with its cold and outdated materials and colorings that didn't make sense to keep. One wish from my client was he wanted the feeling of a luxurious hotel. So that's what I kept in mind wile choosing materials, furniture and colors for the home.

"My client wanted to keep the original kitchen cabinets and layout which was in good shape so I decided to just spray painting the cabinetry in another warmer color wich gave the entire kitchen a facelift, also getting rid of the blue glass backsplash and changing it to a marble countertop with a shelf gives some exciting lines to the kitchen and space for decor.

I also chose to play with texture as I chose chalk paint (limewash) to give the feeling of soft clouds and dimension. "
